Just did an eBay search and $1,500.00 seems like the going rate so a local junkyard sourced engine should be comparable. FWIW a remanufactured N52 engine from BMW runs $9,500.00. And that's from Tischer which heavily discounts most BMW parts. So $1,500.00 is a good deal for a good, low mileage, engine from a wreck.
