Last couple months I've been playing the Dead Rising series for the first time. I started with 1, then Case Zero, then 2, then Case West, and now I'm on 3. (Saving OTR for later as sort of a "new game plus".) I think 3 is really good. But not nearly as good as the first two, and not similar enough in gameplay to really feel like the same series.
