The motivation would be to keep the 5.7 displacement (and MPG) while giving more on demand burst. I imagine this would include.
40. Ram Year. 2010. Engine. Hemi 5.7. What id really like to know is if a newer engine is compatible. Reman would be a great option, but a little out of my price range. I can have my engine pulled and sent to engine shop and repaired for around $4000 CAD. I can find low km replacement engines for 2500 - 4000 CAD. Like the 5.7 Hemi, the 6.4-liter 392 Hemi version is a good, reliable V8 engine with even more power and torque. To date, there were no known serious problems with this engine in normal daily-drive usage. Similar to the 5.7-liter version, "Hemi ticking" is found on the 6.4 Hemi V8, as it also has the MDS system. Upgrading to the larger 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine is a $1,795 option. With two additional cylinders, the HEMI is much more powerful with 395 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque paired to an eight-speed Rather than source a used engine, I chose the Mopar Performance 5.7 Crate Engine with the factory controller and wiring. I had to replace my 904 transmission anyway, so I chose a new A727 TCI transmission. Early on, I decided to use the Holley B Body Gen 3 Hemi Swap components because they make just about everything. Cold air intakes are a popular upgrade on many different cars and engines for good reason. They’re cheap, easy to install, often look good, and can help boost performance. The last note is especially important for the Dodge 5.7 HEMI. It’s a great engine but we often state that the big 5.7L V8 is underpowered from the factory. JrJe. 998 189 469 184 354 934 277 666
