BlowerMotor Relay Location. My blower motor has been acting up, turning off and on at will, even when the car is off and the key is out; I bought a replacement relay for it to try and fix it. Theengine would crank but not start. Sometimes, it would randomly start, but now it will not start at all. We have put in a known good battery, and have full voltage. We have disabled the IBS. 23posts · Joined 2003. #1 · Nov 21, 2015. Hey folks, hoping to get some help. 2005 X5 3.0i. Starter will not engage when I try to start. All other accessories are working fine. Battery voltage is 12v. Fuses in glove compartment fuse block are all good. The DME fuses have been checked and are all good.
