#2 · Aug 6, 2021 I find the SDR's quick shifter to be quite good compared to others I've had or have (currently on a Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX). Yes, completely closed throttle for downshifts and I just keep the throttle above 4,000 rpm's and accelerating for upshifts.

You could take the bike to your dealer and ask them to do the quick-shifter calibration procedure with the KTM diagnostic tablet. I had mine done for the same issues you are having, and it fixed it.
